276. I think it's more acceptable to be a little heavy these days
A lot of girls want the big "J-Lo" butt these days and it is becoming more acceptable for people to be heavy, or at least chubby. That was not something that was acceptable in the 70s & 80s. There are also more heavyset women on TV than their used to be. We have television shows telling heavyset people that they are okay and how we should accept them in society. In the past, it would have been that we should tell the heavyset people how to lose weight and that it was not okay to be heavy. I don't recall a lot of specialty stores for heavyset women in the local malls in the 80s, but that is common now, as is the "Women" section in large department stores.

That said, the top "sexy" movie stars of the 90s and today are generally a lot more toned than they were in the 1950s & 1960s. However, that goes for males & females - I don't recall seeing too many men with washboard abs & rippling musculature in old films. But, people realize that these stars now have full time personal trainers who tell them what to eat, how many hours a day to exercise, etc. And, many of them also have plastic surgeons that can suck out excess fat, enhance certain features, etc.
