and he explained it something like that. If memory serves, he said that in songs the words are already written and he just sings them in order. But when he's speaking there are too many words to choose from as he's coming up with the sentence in his head.
I've also heard that when a stutter hears his own stammering words, it just makes the stuttering worse... but if they can't hear themselves speak, they don't stutter. (For example, trying to speak over a loud TV or wearing headphones and listening to music while speaking at the same time.)
