She was playing games with a man who just killed his wife and child- I give her a lot of credit for doing that.
When people write books, they go on book tours and do the publicity thing while the subject is fresh. Aron Rolston - the hiker who amputated his own arm - did the same thing, and I don't think people would call him a media whore. He has a story worth telling.
The moment will pass, and people will lose interest. If you don't want to watch, then don't.
