Hey everyone!
I have a 2.5 year old boy, and I want to gather some good kids' music for him. He has a couple little Disney albums, but they *TOTALLY* grate on me, and I can't stand it. They're produced by like dips who think that Barney is the best thing ever and are sing-along style with lame bleh bleh bleh. I can't stand it!!!
I know I should be more concerned about what he likes, etc, but I'd rather subvert his opinion and get him some good stuff forcing my views on him! Mwah hah hah hah hah...
Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions? Quality stuff that I won't hate but he'll like? The Rainbow Connection, Puff the Magic Dragon, Schoolhouse Rock type stuff that doesn't treat my kid like a freaking idiot, but is still fun for a toddler. The songs matter less than the cheesy production of the sing-along type deals. Like Willie Nelson singing Frosty the Snowman! Now that I can get behind, and my son really likes it.
Any help is appreciated!
