...there are so many to choose from. I'd vote for Blackadder from that list.
Dad's Army is an all-time great too. The characters were superb. The chemistry between Arthur Lowe (Captain Mainwaring) and the incomparable John Le Mesurier (Sgt Wilson) was magical in my opinion.
Also, I want to make a shout for one of the oldest of the British sitcoms: Hancock's Half Hour.
