 WTF is the world coming to?

Mind you, I've been working with this guy since 1998. The first time I met him, we didn't get 10 seconds into our very first conversation before the "You know this is actually Reagan's economy we are running on and not Bill Clinton's" popped out of his mouth. So yes he was sort of a lost cause.

He said is actually sorry that he ever voted for Bush, and supported this corrupt administration and that the damage being done to the country is awful. The straw that broke the camels back? The bankruptcy / credit card fiasco. He had some unfortunate medical problems, and had to go on disability, and, even with insurance, ended up over thirty thousand in credit card debt because of the bills, and the fact that disability doesn't pay squat. He is very nervous, and should be. What this is telling me, is that even the most rabid of AM hate radio listeners are starting to see that they voted against their own bottom lines, and that the lies and the misdirection from the Hannity's and O'Reilly's is just not working anymore. Reality is starting to set in with the rabid right, slowly for sure, and that maybe, just maybe the whole house of card that the bush-cabal has set up is starting to collapse.

Hey, I can dream can't I?

I told him that he should pay the money and file to homestead his house first thing, so that if worse comes to worse the bank can't take it from him. Don't know what else to tell him. I am simply trying to be supportive right now, because aside from our political opposition, we are actually good friends, and a gloating "I told you so" would just not be appropriate.
