The adventures of Maddy McCall - on the road to Crawford

As many know, Maddy and MMjr decided to go to Crawford to support Cindy Sheehan and to set up a tent for DUers near Camp Casey. Maddy wanted to leave out early this morning, but MMjr wasn't feeling well and their departure was delayed.

Well, it seems that the weather in Texas was bad, heavy rains and strong winds. That delayed their travels. They passed four bad accidents that caused even further delays.

Maddy just called to say that her car broke down and she had to have it towed to an automotive repair shop. The tow truck driver was a great guy, dropped the car off at the repair shop and helped them get their hotel room. She and MMjr are in for the night, getting ready to eat pizza and rest. Hopefully her car will be able to be repaired and they can be at Camp Casey by tomorrow afternoon.

Maddy asked that I post a thread letting folks know that she and MMjr are doing fine, they have just had several delays.

Here's hoping to better travels tomorrow Maddy! :toast:

 :loveya:
