Speculations about "LOST" - Enter if you dare

I should have figured this out long ago.

I didn't get this from any website or anything... I just came up with these thoughts this morning.

The Dharma Initiative: Obviously an experiment to control Karmic fate, gone horribly wrong. The Law Of Unintended Consequences run amok

Hurley's Numbers: A formula for controlling Karmic fate. The man that he gleaned them from in the institution was previously involved with the Dharma initiative, perhaps he was a former team member at another remote site.

The Island: A karmic magnet, the Swan is there to control the karmic forces from getting out of hand by imputing the control numbers in a timely fashion.

The Crash: An incident driven by a single failure to input the numbers in a timely fashion

The Others: Perhaps people seeking to harness the power of Karmic Fate, or those brought to the island and against their will because of it, or team members of the Dharma Initiative who are there for whatever reasons.

Conclusions: Some survivors on that plane KNOW WHAT THE ISLAND ACTUALLY IS and are keeping that secret away from the other passengers.
