I know this is probably *technically* cheating...

But I wanna know if it's like "you're a sodding loser and you're going straight to hell" kinda cheating, or somehow less horrid than that. :(

So I have this work-at-home opportunity with this company that runs an inbound call-center. Perfect for me, as my youngest is only in half-day kindergarten (who the hell has half-day kindergarten anymore?! x() and I can totally customize my schedule to fit my needs. Also, before anyone asks, yes, it's totally legit. ;)

BUT...the "training" I'm having to do right now is UTTERLY ridiculous.

12 modules. Each module has between 6-8 sub-sections. Each sub-section has 394,938,023,928 categories. It's set up so that you have to have (again, *technically*) completed each module before you can test. You get 2 chances to pass each test. A big part of this stuff is so basic common-sense: "If a customer is frustrated, do you: a) Tell them to stfu, b) Threaten them with bodily injury, c)Blow your airhorn in their ear, curse their mothers, and slam the phone down, or d) none of the above." :eyes: :D

But here's the iffy part. Some of it is very involved and complicated procedurally. It's not that I can't understand it or anything...there's SO freakin' much! And, having taken the first 2 tests already and knowing there's only 25 questions (and several of those are the common sense stuff), it's just really hard to parse what to concentrate on. Soooooo...basically, I've been breezing through the tests, writing down what I missed, and going back and sorting through all the muck to get the answers...re-testing and passing with flying colors.

I make baby Jeebus cry, don't I? :(
