and after the clerk is done bagging the gift, he gives me my debit card back and says "have a nice evening." So I bow my head to consummate the purchase with a shopping prayer. I'm only about 45 seconds into it when he asks me to get out of the way so he can help the next customer.
That's when I totally lose it.
"Listen, you fucking asshole!" I declare, "I should have demanded a refund and left when you used that commie atheist phrase 'have a nice evening' instead of the proper 'have a blessed evening'! Then you top it off by trying to take the goddamn fucking Christ out of Christmas by denying my 1st Amendment right to pray?!?!? Why don't you take this goddamn Barbie and shove it up your fucking ass?"
Do you think I overreacted? :shrug:
