59. I'm a progressive thinking woman and I loved Howard Stern
I enjoyed his show for years although at times I have to admit even I would turn him off when he got a little too out there (especially when he'd bring in the farters - that was just annoying).

I never thought he was degrading to women, if anything he has been not only a major advocate against the Bush administration but a strong proponent of both choice and equal-rights (but politically he's a Libertarian). No one forced these women to come on his show and get naked, they chose it for themselves. And I always got a good chuckle at some of the dim-wits that would come on his show. He had a way of taking these people who voluntarily came on his show and make some great entertainment out of it.

And he stood up to the FCC which I hope he is sucessful beyond all measures on Sirius. I still haven't decided on which satellite station I want only because I'd also like Air America but that's on XM. But terrestrial radio will go the way of network television which will manage to survive pay radio but will have a major hit with new technology. To be honest, outside of Howard Stern and WXPN public radio out of UPenn, I pretty much quit listening to radio all together. Way too many commericials and most of the time I'm forced to listen to music I cannot stand.
