Being British.

This is taken from today's Newsnight Daily E-mail. Like all good satire it's not that far from being wrong.

A Newsnight viewer, who wishes to remain anonymous, was inspired by
recent debates about the nature of Britishness to send this observation
on our great nation:

"Being British is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a
Belgian beer, then travelling home, grabbing an Indian meal on the way,
to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV.
And the most British thing of all? Suspicion of anything foreign."
