It took me 20 hours to fix my computer

I was having DU withdrawals. For some reason my mouse icon would not move. It was just frozen in one place. I was trying everything I could think of. System restore, restart, shutdowns, new configurations. Nothing was working. I still don't even know how I fixed it, I just rebooted and a few minutes ago and it was working. I was about ready to put my fist through the monitor I was so pissed, lol. I have little patience anyway. :)

So did I miss anything good or what?
