Just tuned in to Oscars(West Coast time)--did I miss any awards?

:hi: Just caught make-up with Carrel and Farrell.

Totally slept on the whole thing this year. I was so satisfied after watching the Independent Spirit Awards yesterday, I guess I wsn't as big on the Oscars. The Indies are so cool, as you get a glimpse of the art/passion side of things. All the actors are dressed more casually and seem more layed back. I just dig that vibe, and appreciate learning more about films that I should seek out for rentals, that may not have made it to my local theaters--or I missed at the art house.

Thankfully, I missed all the red carpet crap. Yes, the outfits are pretty, etc. I love glamour as much as the next guy/girl, but all the stuff that goes with it is so shallow and ridiculous. The cattiness toward those that commit what the fashionistas consider fashion 'faux pas' is completely horrible to me. I have little patience for all of that these days.

Sad to have missed anything Jon Stewart said or did, but that's about all I'm sad about missing...

Anyway, if I missed a major award category, please let me know...
