39. I gotta agree. The homophobes are breathing a big sigh of relief.

Brokeback was clearly, far and away, a better film. Superb acting, wonderful adaptation, beautifully directed, gorgeous cinematography. And...again...the acting.

Hollywood took the safe road. They didn't want to rock the boat.

They had a chance to really help our cause, and they flinched.
