18. Me too!
I was looking for an obscure pulp science-fiction adventure story called "The Texas-Israel War, 1999". Catchy title, huh? I had seen the cover and title of the book only once before, decades ago, but it had always stuck with me. The cover shows an Israeli tank opening fire on Indians on horseback (which doesn't happen in the book, but it draws you in...) I heard of Alibris, and decided to give them a try. They had ONE copy available. I guess it was more obscure than I had thought. I bought it on the spot. I don't read it much, 'cause it's really not that good a story, but it's an interesting thing to have.

What book were you looking for?
