56. My turn
Tabitha belonged to a Home Health patient of mine that was going into a nursing home. My patient said that it would make her happy if I would treat her kindly. I've had her since 1992.
Finnegan belonged to a nurse that I worked with's roommate. Apparently Finnegan didn't like my friend and he used her clothing for a catbox.
When my friend's roommate left for two weeks, my friend was going to take him to a shelter or give him away. I've had him since 1995.
Bosco was gender-confused. Our neighbor had him--although his name was Sophie (they thought he was female) and he had a habit of sucking on people--weaned too soon. He was on his way to the pound when we acquired and re-named him. We obtained him in 2002.
Freckles is my dog. We rescued him out of a Walmart parking lot. We've had him since 2003.
