I shit thee not, CTV news broke programming today in the middle of their news and let this go for like 30 minutes.
It was a fucking paraody of itself.. with the "reporters" saying things like "Now, it appears as though the firefighters are unpacking some of their equipment."
At one point they ran out of things to say and started talking about the camera they were using to cover it.... fucking hilarious shit man.
The print story I posted, naturally, makes it all seem so dangerous.... for instance the part about how if the ledge wasn't there they would have fallen... truth is the kid never fell, he climbed down there to get his dog.
It was fucking funny.
