It reminds me of uhhh, last season. The Rube Goldberg approach to terrorism. I just get the feeling that the writers are making it up as they go along. It's like they're using writers on loan from LOST.

Some things the writers need to explain:

If POTUS really is the evil genius, then who was Walt conspiring with? Henderson?

How do Henderson and Logan know each other?

What are their goal? A nerve agent attack on Russia or the U.S.? Either? Both?

How did the hobbit's sister's boyfriend come into contact with the terrorists?

When did the bad guys know that Jack was alive and available to be framed for Palmer's assassination.

I'm still peeved over a NG that can be defeated merely by holding one's breath. If that was the case, why didn't everyone in the CTU safe rooms simply hold their breath and walk out of the building?
