For instance, you'd think abortion would be clearly condemned in the bible, judging from the decibal level of Fundies. Ask the next one to show you where the word "abortion" is even mentioned in the Old or New Testament. They can't! At the most they can point to an Old Testament penalty for causing an involuntary miscarriage. But abortion is no such thing; it is a voluntary act, and has been a common practice throughout history, especially in Biblical times when famine, disease, and rapine provided so many reasons to terminate pregnancies. "Pro-Life" is just another fundie weasel term. In the Bizarro world of RW religion, one can be "pro-life" and still support deadly military action sure to kill civilians.
