38. Let me see...
Changed color balance of whole piece. (Look at the kid next to Ron's left shoulder. Face is much redder in the Imax version.)

Lightened background.

Fixed color balance of Harry's clothing; in the Imax version you can see he's got a red shirt on under his robe, whereas in the non-Imax version it blends right in

Fluffed up Hermione's hair, also the hair of the girl two back from Hermione

Took about three inches out of Hermione's gut--look close at the curve under the breast, not just at the breast itself.

Significantly softened Hermione's makeup. Look around the eyes.

Come on, folks. This ain't reality we're talking about here. The finished piece is...well, prettier...than what they started out with.

What really pisses ME off isn't made-over, photoshopped, enhanced images of people. It's made-over, photoshopped, enhanced images of products. You saw Falling Down, right? The scene in the Whammyburger, where he shot the place up with a Mac-10 then ordered lunch. He pulled the hamburger out of the box...it looked like your generic "this has been under a warming lamp for the last four hours even though we started serving lunch five minutes ago" burger. Then he points at the promo shot for the sandwich. "That's what I'm talking about. Look at that. It's hot, it's juicy, it's three inches thick...now look at this ridiculous squashed thing. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with this picture? Anyone? Anyone at all?" I wanna see "Products Without Makeup" articles in the Star instead of Stars Without Makeup. Yeah, I know Sandra Bullock looks washed-out with no makeup--"not looking washed-out" is why she wears it. I wanna see a photo of what the Bucket of Boiled Stuff I like at Joe's Crab Shack looks like when I get it versus the picture on the menu. Trust me--they're not even close. I wanna see a photo of that laminate flooring without the ten pounds of wax they put on it before they photograph it. I think you'd be highly pissed at that--far more than "they made Hermione Grainger's chest more prominent in the publicity still for the movie she's in." Besides, don't they still sell Wonderbras?
