to be interested:

I reminded another DUer who has been a stalwart friend (as you have) the other night, that if she wanted to keep one "Redstone Phrase" and carry it close to her heart, it should be this one:

"I might be sick, but I ain't dead yet."

If that phrase gives you Dad some ammunition, he's welcome to use it at will.
