Oh wait, I guess Poison did make it, I just never cared. LOL.

To really answer your question, there was a club band in SF (rock/alternative) that was good, "7 Karma Fishes" who my girlfriends and I used to go see. Unfortunately, I think they got the "rock star mentality" before the "rock star" paychecks came in. Very talented, but their egos killed them and turned a lot of people off. There is some of their stuff available on YouTube.
