My cat Pookie, who has been with me for 15yrs, was very sick with renal failure. Vet thinks it was cancer to blame.

He was getting so bad, when he stopped eating, I knew it was time. It was so hard to say good bye to him. I spent last night and this morning with him.

I was there when he was born and I was there when he left this world. He went peacefully in my arms. Thank goodness for the kind and caring vet and his staff at the clinic. They made this as easy as they possibly could. They have known pooke when he was a monster of a cat, who attacked everyone. Depsite that, I could see the saddness in their eyes.

Right now, me and Spot, the other cat that rules the house...are going to have to learn to live without the loud mouth boss of a cat. Pookie is going to be missed.

I buried him up at my adopted mom's house on a hill, under a tree.
