It saves a great deal of load time. Kills a lot of unnecessary spam and in the end gives you the maximum amount of choice in what your computers processor wastes effort on or doesn't. It's a very cool add on. Very handy.
Any flash bashed ad or video on a web page is replaced by a little "F" logo. If you want to view it then simply click on it. If not then it remains unloaded. Seems like no biggie until you realize just how much of the useless CPU wasting garbage on the web is FLASH based...
