Thankfully, we'd been together for 8 years before we took separate continents for our careers so we had a very solid and wonderful relationship first.

It's tough being apart, but we're also both committed enough that it works for us, and both too lazy to go look for someone else (plus neither has any desire to look for someone else), so that also works for us.
