My mom has breast cancer

Just got the call today. Took out a cyst earlier in the week, but the cancer was small enough that it took the biopsy to confirm it. They'll have to go back in to try to get the rest, then probably radiation therapy and possibly even a mastectomy.

Our family has been generally healthy (even though my father has smoked like a chimney ever since I can remember), so this is all new to us. Also - she turns 65 in a week and a half, which means she'll be switching over to Medicare...so no more co-pays on the medication she'll need.

I'm tearing up typing this. Help.
