Rock & roll dancing... FUN !!!
Advertisements [?]
Went out dancing again tonight. The ballroom dancing classes started up again after the summer break, but Emily and I aren't doing that because it's for absolute beginners again and we didn't fancy learning again everything we learned already. But they do rock & roll dancing on the same night, and it looked a lot of fun, so I went along for that instead.

Emily didn't come, it was her first day back at school (she's a teacher) so she gave it a miss and said she'd come next week. Fortunately, it didn't really matter, because in the rock and roll we all swap partners anyway. I danced with everybody a couple of times. Funny, there were almost as many men as women. That doesn't usually happen.

What can I say? It is as much fun as it looks. I love the music, for a start. It must be a very dour person who can hear Shake, Rattle and Roll and not want to move their feet. Not me, that's for sure. I'm a natural fidget. But apparently I have rhythm too. Not bad for a nerd, eh?
