22. 99 Women's World Cup

USA vs. China in 0-0 overtime tie. Went to shoot-out, even after 20 more minutes of play! every shot blocked except one. China allowed one in, and the USA women won! Then Brandi Chastain ripped her shirt off! It was a classic sports moment.

Edit: 1998 Nagano, Kwan loses to Lipinski, gets silver. Then 2002, Michelle Kwan losing to Sarah Hughes and Irina Slutskaya and getting bronze.

After she got the bronze, she was invited to skate again with the others, and she had chosen "Fields of Gold" for her free skate. Very sad. :(
