Computer Vulnerability - W 32 Blaster & RPC

There were a couple of threads here in The Lounge yesterday with people asking about RPC, what it does, and why it was terminating on their machines. One person in particular wrote about getting a countdown timer.

This is consistent with a new worm making the rounds called W 32 Blaster. The link below is to the Slashdot article on it; the Slashdot article contains a link to the security patch for this worm.

Keep those Windows boxes patched!
