I decided to do some research on the actual liquid nicotine used to refill my e-cig. Turns out, it's nicotine (duh), glycerin, distilled water and flavoring - that's it. I've already weened myself down to the low dosage of nicotine so I went to AC Moore and purchased the vegatable glycerin (3 dollars) and a flavoring of choice (1.50 a pop) and now I can make my own smoke juice. I'm puffing on it right now. Nom nom nom. I read online if you desire the nicotine to buy bulk tobacco at the pipe store and boil a small quantity in water then reduce and add to the mix. I don't think I'll be doing that unless I need that tobacco kick. But still... FUCK YEAH!!!1

I'm so happy to finally give the finger to the tobacco industry. I'm not a smoker anymore. I've been virtually smoke free for 5 months (sans a week when my device broke). That's the longest I've gone since boot camp.
