OMG! It's spring! (photo heavy)

I took these pictures earlier today, in the area of Stavern, Vestfold in Norway. Spring time up north :D



Note how the green and white laces the roadside, like a ripple through the landscape. How dreary the winter worn trees are looking in contrast. Green beats grey!



It's like reversed pollution - instead of poision, it's life itself that seeps through the ground, setting off the spark of new spring. The trees are like 'OMG! Where did I put the photo-syntheisis manual?'



It doesn't stop, it's everywhere, kicking off the new season.



The next clearing in the woods is more beautiful than the last, it goes on and on. Walk me, use me, please gorge this scenery. It never stops.



Old Grumphy flexes his muscle and says 'One more season, I still look like a plane crash and YOU still won't bend this arm, flimsies.' And he's right. Nobody bends that arm.



'Wake up, wake up, spring is upon us' The call goes out as the trees are engulfed by green-white.



Over the hills and far away, there's no stopping once started.



In mid summer this road is turned into a tunnel of green. I swear, if nature was left to it's own, it would use no more than two years to reclaim this road. Actually, it's doing it's best every year :D



Every crack, every bowl, every spot available, is filled with mayflower green-white.
