It was most likely strippers and alcohol. They all went golfing the morning of our wedding, too. My "bachelorette party" consisted of nachos and margaritas with the matron of honor the day before the wedding.
Your buddy? Stupid question: Why would anyone want to have a "bachelor party" who's evidently afraid of anything beyond PG content, when bachelor parties typically represent debauchery in all its forms?
Reservations for dinner will work. You could also try something like putt-putt golf.
