I have bookmarked this thread because it holds dear to me the ones that have posted in it. There are alot among the missing that I hope to see again. DU is not the same without them but know they are in my heart and my hopes to have them back posting so we can all enjoy their presence.

I must say we have alot diversity here, everyone from all walks of life that bring so much to DU, their talents, hopes and dreams.
I'm proud of the accomplishments we all strive for. DUers' running for office in the past, some now are running with those who hold office,and how this place has grown in such recognition, with over 30,000 members since our humble beginnings.

Last night I got to watch one of our well known DUer, William Rivers Pitt and to see him up there speaking his wonderful words he writes from his knowledge of the truth with such passion to make others aware of our situation and what this Bush adminstration is all about.
He's been a true patriot for the cause since the day I met him here on DU and I value his friendship. He makes the world a better place to live in as all of you do being the DUers that you are.

DU now DU2 has grown into a larger picture of many views, lots of issues, ideas of people and their opinions, most of us who are sincere in our conversing to help one another. To give support to each other, to pat each other on the back and even a thank you goes a long way for making us all feel good.

Everytime I come back to DU I see we are fortunate to hold on to those values and the reaching out to one another to those of us hurting makes us some pretty awesome people to be around. And look at the ones that found love and married, it's wonderful what DU has done and what it does for all of us.

So this liberal heart is trying to tell you all...many many thank yous' for being the friends you are
