There has been a lot of myth built up around him, and some is true, some isn't ...Some was, some isn't any more...I have refrained from entering this discussion because I admit to getting occasionally obnoxious with my "I know this guy or that guy" anecdotes (or in a more unflattering light, name-dropping) and it really isn't all that important a subject in the grand scheme of things,but it is interesting to us music and especially Stones fans...The person from whom I have heard stories about Keith as well as the debunking of rumors etc, is in a position to know, although he is certainly not an unbiased observer, so I take that into account on the relatively rare occasions that I see him, although saw him this past summer (and rarer still, that he talks about Keith or the Stones). I don't really want to name this guy, but there are a handful of people here on DU who know that this friend really is in a position to know what he's talking about. (And then again, I suppose he could be bullshitting me sometimes too)...One thing he insists is true is that Keith is a much nicer guy than he is often given credit for...
