when I managed to turn on the tv and there it was. It gave me also some considerations about my own father. But also it brought home to me, how, when a person dies, they suddenly are remembered, not truthfully, as they really were, but in this saint like glow; or all the bad is forgotten; and in that episode, he was a drinking, womanizing, sort of bad character (the father). But all the bad disappeared when he died. But from the daughter's point of view it was quite touching. To see her perception of it all. She had never heard one bad, or truthful word about him. Anyway, it may be too that my favorite part of Dr Who is the theme music. I love that. I just had it on for a bit tonight, again per chance, not by design. It really is quite a show. I see there is another incarnation. 12 or so. dc
Interesting about your father and all. You must be young. I think the show started in 1963.
