Projected run numbers for 2004 are based upon year 2000 runs of 35,000 kings and year 2001 runs of 30,000 kings. Assuming average reproduction success rates for parents of 2000-2001 offspring, we should expect another above average run of king salmon this coming summer on the Deshka, Lake Creek and the entire Mat-Su valley!
