2. Snopes being dumb, or the rumor dumb? They "debunked" the bin laden flight
Snopes "debunked" the secret saudi flights back in 1991. I wrote them an email with chapter and verse, mainstream press citations out the wazooo. They emailed me back, very snotty and condescending, saying that my sources were crap and they stood by their "debunking" of the Bin Laden evacuation. They have since apologized.
But that was the dumbest thing snopes has ever done.
