Reply #15: I have had severe migraines for 8 years

I have always had them but they struck me almost on a daily basis in my 3rd trimester of my second pregnancy.Ive had them ever since with no relief.I went untreated during the rest of the pregnancy and breastfeeding for 8 months.Longest bout of hell I`ve ever known.
I then tried imitrix.I had a severe reaction.Ive been on all the triptans.Ive had allergic reactions to them.I am currently on migrainal *dhe45 nasal spray* that seems to work in combo with an opioid based pain relief.I take prozac ,verapamil,topamax for preventive treatment.
I was in such hell I even became part of a migraine study.A plastic surgeon in cleveland did a brow lift to reduce migraines.Didnt work on me but most people in the study was helped.(or botox to the face and neck).
