15. I just bought the new one
The one with the removable grill plates is fantastic. This is my third GF. I've always had to get bigger ones. My only complaint with this machine has been the cleaning. Although it wasn't a huge hassle it wasn't as easy as it should have been. Now with the removable dishwasher safe plates and temperature control-I'm in GF heaven.

So after all that the answer is YES.
