but I never tip where someone doesn't have to come to my table frequently with food, drink refills, etc. Jason's is more of a self-serve, cafeteria like setting.

They deliver, also, don't they? Maybe the tip line is for delivery drivers?

In a place like Golden Corral where it's mostly self-serve, but a person brings you drink refills, bread, and clean plates, I tip a small amount IF they do a good job.
