It's really disturbing that someone would want to spend that much time on a website like this just to disrupt. I can attest to the discussion that went into the bans while he was mod, though. Skinner and the other admins have a really good system in place to protect members of DU from the amount of power mods have over discussions, etc. And I think Skinner and the other admins do a really good job of picking the mods. You can't personally know all of 65,000 people and to have this be the first time in 4 years and so many members that a troll has gotten through the system is exceptional, I think.

I have to say I'm shocked that he was banned and the reasons why, but maybe not totally surprised. Skinner and all the admins and mods (and members) did a great job figuring CL out and taking care of the situation.
