32. Composition wise
I really like 7. The heron was staning in the middle of the shallows and the water was covered with algae and where there was water, the yellowing trees were reflected, giving in a really interesting quality.

Unfortunately, when you use the digital zoom rather than a telephoto lense (which I don't have), you get some graininess.

I haven't run any of these through Photoshop, so they aren't as good as they could be.

As far as pictures, I think the trick is to take a ton and you come up with a few good ones. With digital cameras, it makes it a lot less cost-prohibitive. And sometimes what you think worked doesn't when you upload it and vice versa.
