When all the world’s asleep
And you are peacefully dreaming
Then
I will come out of the dark

I will entwine myself around you
I will touch you everywhere

Then you will know me
And what brings me there

My immortal soul will join yours
My smile will shine through your life
My kisses will set you on fire
My kisses on your wide, generous mouth

You will know my sweet, sweet loving
As the night rolls away from us

By the time the dawn lights your window
You will have answers to the questions
You did not know
You had.

For you will love me forever
As I come
Out of the dark
