 Not only is Ron Ben-Israel (the host) a disturbing sort of guy...a combo of Mike Meyers' characters "Dieter" from "Sprockets" and Dr. Evil from "Austin Powers"...he drags the contestants through "Iron Chef"-style challenges, but the "secret ingredients" are things like BONE MARROW and SQUID INK, and these dishes are all supposed to be dessert-style SWEETS! Oh, and one of the other secret ingredients was BUBBLE GUM. His accent is petty heavy...at first I thought he was telling the losers "You are NOT the Swiss cheese" until I realized he was saying "sweet genius." :rofl: |
