hybrids that could take heat, we haven't had those in years. They were beautiful and so fragrant while they lasted. I have annuals that made it through the winter and they're blooming and seem proud of themselves. The Baptisia and the Stella D'Oro daylillies are beginning to bloom.
In addition to all that, ducklings are out in our neighborhood, I saw a juvenile bald eagle taking advantage of some road kill earlier today, and the osprey's are very busy. In addition to the year 'round songbirds at the bird feeders, more songbirds are being spotted. Oh, and the wild turkeys have been out for a few weeks, the males displaying tail feathers....uh, I stay away from those birds, lol!
