Ordinary clothing, nothing that makes anyone stand out or that would not be otherwise useful, but nonetheless functional as a uniform once you have many people together wearing the same thing. Also, actually marching instead of ambling down the street - lines and rows of similarly dressed people sends a strong message that we are organized, we are disciplined, and we are dedicated to the message and the cause and not just out here for a social event.
