Poison is often useful in the hands of trained persons. We use it to increase crop yields and keep our homes free from pests.

CCW permit holders have been shown to be extremely conscious of the law. The rate of revocation for CCW permits, for the states that publish the information, is less than 2%.

If firearms are a poison, CCW permit holders are about the most qualified people to handle it.
