Dick Gephardt, many of you guys may not like him because he attacked Dean or voted for the war resolution and rose garden but the trtuh is Gephardt is a quite progressive democrat on economic issues and while a member in his early years in congress, Gephardt since '88 has moved to the left. Nancy Pelosi, is in fact a member of the progressive caucus that Kucinich and Barbara Lee Chair and one of the highest up nat'l democrats against the war resolution. Now to the senate, Daschle and Reid while they aren't members of hte party's liberal wing, they aren't extremely moderate either, and as far as I know, they've never been members. Yeah, we had a DLC president from '93-'00, but the DLC's power is so overhyped by some of us.
