We CAN stop Bush in his tracks

We CAN stop the Bush administration in its tracks. It just takes a little guts to do it. We can deny them the funds they need to make war on Iraq and on our own people. There are at least two methods to do this.

The first is economic activism, which is simple and legal. Don't support companies that support Bush or the GOP. Good resources for finding out who these companies are include:

Also make sure you don't support the companies that are profiting from the war:

The second method is to reduce what you pay in federal income tax. If you are too sensible to do anything illegal, as I am, take steps to lower your tax burden. Redirect your tax dollars by making contributions to non-profits, and deducting those contributions from your tax burden.

If you refuse to pay federal income taxes entirely, you could go to jail or get stuck with up to $25,000 in fines. But there are many who have chosen this method anyway:

If enough people make a point not to contribute to the war fund, it can have a huge impact, and can greatly affect how well they carry out their agenda.
